Let’s get’s started.

Login into Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.

Change to settings on the bottom left hand cornor.

Click on Feature Settings:

Business unit scoping turn ON.

Enabling Business Unit Scoping for Real Time Journeys:

This feature enables all marketing processes in RTM Journeys to be business unit scoped by default. You cannot turn it off once again.

Strongly recommend that you test this feature on a sandbox environment that has a copy of the production data before doing this on a production environment.

By enabling this feature, you consent to having understood the impact this feature has on your environment.

That’s it for today.

I hope this helps.

{Do you know} Power Pages Trial period is for 90 days

Hello Everyone,

Today i am going to share Power Pages Trail period now extended to 90 days now.

Let’s get’s started.

When you want to do some PoC on Power Pages or get started with Power Pages, you usually get 30 days trial period and sometimes it’s not enough so now microsoft providing 90 days trial period.

So websites created in a PRODUCTION Power Platform environment will start as a 90- day trial. The longer trial duration will give makers a longer time to develop their websites without concerns of losing site access within 30 days or having to start paying for licenses by converting the websites to production mode.

That’s it for today.

I hope this helps

{How to } enable show emails as conversation on timeline

Hello Everyone,

Today i am going to show how to enable show emails as conversation on timeline.

Let’s get’s started.

Sign in to Sales Hub.

Click on settings and then Personalization Settings. This displays the Set Personal Options dialog box so you can use the following steps to enable the email view on timeline.

Select the Email tab.

Select the Show emails as conversation on timeline check box.

Select OK.

The email conversation view is based on the user preferences. Personal Settings are tied to the user, not the form, which means when you enable the threaded email, the setting is applied to all of your timeline views.

That’s it for today.

I hope this helps.

{Resolved} The report can’t be viewed because the underlying dataset uses row-level security(RLS) in Dynamics 365 Power BI Report

Hello Everyone,

Today i am going to show how to resolve the report can’t be viewed because the underlying dataset uses row-level security(RLS).

Let’s get’s started.

When an end user try to see the report published using Power BI and dataset used in the report have security roles associated with it, then the user who is accessing the Power BI report on Dynamics 365 Model Driven App then this type of error message will appear.

How to resolve it?

Need to check the report existing Dataset Security settings and Role-Level Security was empty for the report, so compared it with an existing report and added the related CRM Users “User Group” to the Report.

Add the Row-Level Security group to the report (see above screenshot).

Reason for the error message in my case is due to :

From app the dashboards reference are located in the Solution i was working on, for some reasons the default report value was empty, so it was not pointing to a report and causes the “Failed to get report Error message”

That’s it for today.

I hope this helps.
